Correspondence Talk
On Thursday 4th September at 6pm in the ACMI Cinema Luke YOU will be speaking on the panel The Art of Correspondence along with Julie Millowick, Tamsin Sharp and Mark Siebert. These four artists swap notes on how they use, and interpret, correspondence.
Correspondence Workshop 1
Sunday 7th September get along to a workshop with Luke YOU and learn how to create your own unique anonymous correspondence as a work of art. In this one day workshop you're invited to write a zine under the guise of YOU for distribution in cities around the world including; Melbourne, Sydney, London, Glasgow, Chicago and San Francisco. Luke You will guide you through the process of do-it-yourself zine writing, copying and distribution. Participants may drop in any time between 12 and 5pm and it is free!!
Correspondence Workshop 2: YOU on film
And, the piece de resistance … on Sunday 14th September also at 12pm, join in an amazing collaboration with Luke YOU to create a limited edition version of the YOU zine by writing your own anonymous letter to read on camera. BYO pen and disguise for this anonymous DIY zine and film collaboration. The resulting film will be distributed in cities around the world, and screened at ACMI on Sunday 2 November, 10-6pm. Participants may drop in any time between 12 and 5pm and it is free!!
